Arsenal Boldly Rejects Offer From Barcelona For Key Man

FC Barcelona are once again being linked with a move for Hector Bellerin. With the Spanish giants looking to lure the 21-year-old back to his home country, according to the Daily Star.

The European giants apparently made a move to sign him on Wednesday, but were given an instant and firm rejection by Arsenal. We have no intention of selling him at any price, as the right-back is unquestionably one of the brightest young talents in football today.

While it may well be true that Barca are interested in Bellerin – with the La Masia product potentially seen as a long-term replacement for Dani Alves – an approach is completely pointless.

Not only do we have no intention of letting the full-back leave, but the player himself clearly wants to remain with Arsenal. He has recently stated his desire to stay with the club, insisting that he can’t see himself playing anywhere else (via the Daily Mail).

FC Barcelona have hinted at a return to old club traditions after revealing their new kit for the 2016-17 season.

Lionel Messi and his team-mates played in red and blue hooped shirts last season as they secured a La Liga and Copa del Rey double, but the club’s usual striped pattern will be adopted once more next term.

Barcelona revealed the new design on Monday, with the lack of a sponsor on the front of the shirt also notable.

The Catalan club shunned sponsorship until striking a deal with the Qatar Foundation in 2012.

Qatar Airways have adorned Barca’s shirts since 2013, but have not renewed their deal for next season, which is thought to be the main factor behind the club’s lack of sponsor on the new shirt for the unveiling.

Groom Files For Divorce From Bride On Wedding Night

Nick encouraged Wendy to embrace the "naturism," or nudist, lifestyle a year ago.

2. Zoning Out When Your Wife Is Talking To You:  Men and women process communication in different ways, but both spouses need to make conscious efforts to connect with the other. Men, we can have a tendency to “zone out” during conversations, but our wives need and deserve our full, undivided attention. Let’s not approach conversations like zombies on autopilot. Let’s be fully present. Remember, your wife’s need for meaningful communication is every bit as strong as your need for s*x. That should put it into perspective.
3. Looking At Porn:  This one is going to step on a lot of toes, because millions of people (a majority of them men) look at Porn regularly and see nothing at all wrong with it. In a nutshell, Porn desensitizes us from real intimacy. It’s a form of virtual infidelity, and it’s a "gateway drug" towards other marriage-destroying behaviors. Marriage requires monogamy, and monogamy should be mental as well as physical. Instead of living in the fantasy world of Porn, work to build stronger sexual intimacy in your own marriage.

Giving Your Career And Hobbies Your Best And Giving Your Life Your Leftovers:  We’ve all been guilty (at times) of giving our best efforts to other people and pursuits and then giving our leftovers to the ones who should matter most. Let’s make every effort to give our very best energies to our families.
5. Checking Out Other Women: This one has a lot of similarities with #3 (looking at Porn), but it creates some separate issues as well. When we check out other women in public, we’re publicly disrespecting our wives and publicly objectifying other women all at once. Watch where your eyes go. Don’t swing your head around at every woman wearing yoga pants or flashing her assets. Have more respect for your wife.
6. Not Wearing Your Wedding Ring:  This one is controversial, but I’m a big believer in wearing a wedding ring because it speaks for itself. Whether or not you wear a ring is one of the first things women will notice about you and they will make assumptions about your "availability" and even your commitment to your marriage based on the presence or absence of a ring. Wear it as often as you can.
7. Staring At Your Phone More Than You Make Eye Contact ith your family:  I don’t want my kids’ primary memories of me to be the top of my head while I stared at my phone or laptop. This is a struggle for many men (including me), because we feel the pressure to be constantly connected to the world, and sometimes, it even feels like a necessity in working to provide for our families. Still, we need to create clear boundaries to have the electronics shut off as often as possible so we can be fully present and engaged at home.
8. Getting Mad At Your Kids For Stuffs You Do Too:  I catch myself in this one all the time. We can easily get into the "Do as I say" instead of "Do as I do" mentality, but our kids need our example much more than our instruction. We can’t tell them not to cuss when we’re cussing in front of them. We can’t tell them to control their temper when we venting our anger all the time. We’ve got to practice what we preach if we’re going to have any longterm credibility.
9. Expecting Your Wife To Do Everything Around The House:  Stats show that even in homes where both the husband and wife work full-time outside the home, the wife is still doing the vast majority of domestic duties around the house. Guys, we need to step up here (I’m talking to myself too). Your wife is not your maid. Give her the respect and support she deserves by helping around the house (and in all other areas too).

Men, whether or not these particular issues apply to you, let’s resolve together to be the husbands and fathers our families deserve. Let’s love, protect, provide and serve them to the best of our abilities. Let’s make sure our actions and our words communicate our undying love and commitments. They need and deserve our very best!

Boko Haram Now Puts On Uniforms For Identification

The spokesman of the Nigerian Defence Headquarters, Brigadier Rabe Abubakar, said in a statement on Friday that Boko Haram terrorists have now resorted to parading themselves in uniform. He said:

As a result of ongoing onslaught against the Boko Haram terrorists in Sambisa forest, the terrorist group has now devised a means of identifying themselves. In this regard, the Boko Haram now wear uniform to blend among locality undetected where they sadly carryout their heinous crime.  

The recent apprehension of 2 Boko Haram terrorists in uniform near Dikwa in Borno State, is a pointer towards this direction 

While the military would sustain the current tempo to further decimate the terrorists, the military is advising the recalcitrant remnant Boko Haram to surrender now and get humane treatment in line with the world best practice. 

The members of the public are hereby urged to be wary of this new development and be always alert. Any suspicious persons or object should be reported promptly to the security agencies. Do not be ignorant about this new development.

That powder is talc, a dangerous ingredient some manufacturers use in the production of condoms. Particles of talc powder in latex condoms can enter a girl’s body during s*x and irritate tissues, potentially causing infertility (not able to have a baby), and cancer. To reduce these risks of infertility and potential cancer, use non-latex condoms when having s*x.
6. Spermicide Condoms Can Cause Irritation: Although condoms are 97 percent effective in protecting you against pregnancy and most STDs, they can still cause you some problems. Spermicide is an ingredient found in some condoms that kills sperm and adds lubrication. Spermicide contains the chemical, nonoxynol-9 which can cause irritation, itching or burning for both the male and female. See Why Majek Fashek Dumps Billionaire Who Offered To Help His Life

Nigerian Reggae veteran Majek Fashek no longer in close relationship with billionaire Ayiri Emami. Ayiri has been reportedly responsible for the musician’s upkeep following his time at the rehab in Abuja.

According to Ayiri, the entertainer was emphatic about returning to music despite being medically advised to take a break. Eventually Majek went ahead with pursuing music, sparking speculations of a misunderstanding between him and his patron Ayiri.

Warri-based billionaire Ayiri Emami has opened up on the reasons he parted ways with embattled Nigerian music veteran Majek Fashek. The billionaire socialite was reportedly responsible for the upkeep of the Reggae veteran from 2015 after he was found unstable in Lagos following his addiction problems. But seven months after the musician was discharged from an Abuja rehabilitation centre, it has been reported that things are no longer smooth between him and his patron Ayiri.

Punch reported that Majek went against the instructions of the billionaire which led to the current development. The billionaire said exclusively to Punch:

"Majek Fashek is not under my care. When he left the rehabilitation home in Abuja, the doctors said that he needed to relax. They said he should stay off the music scene for some time. I wanted him to stay in Warri and relax. I provided everything that he needed to be comfortable. But he insisted on going back to music almost immediately. He kept insisting and, after a while, I had to let him go and that was it"

Ayiri also stated that the entertainer was emphatic about returning to music as well as joining his label but he refused. He later travelled only to return and find out that the singer had left Warri, left everything he had planned out for him all in pursuit of a music career in Lagos.

Majek Fashek During Live Performance

This apparently led to the current issue between them.

Ayiri said: "He wanted to join my music label, but I said no. I didn’t want other people to think that I did him a favour because I wanted him to sign on to the label. Instead, I told him that I could get him a good manager that would take care of him and his career, get him a car and every other thing…I travelled and by the time I returned one evening, Majek was already in Lagos."

This sounds quite disturbing but the singer spoke to Punch in response to the situation saying he left Warri because he didn’t want to be constrained creatively.

He said about leaving Ayiri: "We are still doing business together, but it is not like it used to be. I am an American-trained musician. When I was in America, I studied music and music business. So I am not in the same level as the average Nigerian musician. I am an international musician. Emami wanted to place me on the same level as Nigerian musicians and to control my music business. So I decided to move."

The embattled singer has been known to struggle with gaining acceptance in society as well as the Nigerian entertainment industry for years as a result of these and more.

In 2015, he was put under medical supervision (at the Synapse Services Centre, an Abuja rehabilitation hospice) for several months over issues relating to drug and alcohol abuse.

He was discharged in October, 2015 after which he made an appearance at the annual Felabration concert in Lagos.
